GuestBook22Sep2010 bnbass Driving from Siem Reap airport you'll see all kinds of enormous posh characterless hotel complexes. Afraid we were tugged away in one of those Casa Angkor was actually a relief. A good and cosy hotel (compared to the rest) with a nice initmate pool and good rooms. Both of us were sick one day due to dehydration (at Angkor it was over 40 degrees celcius) and you could be sick in a much worse hotel. The staff was very friendly. Internet access was not free however contrary to almost any other hotel in SE Asia. A bit of a miss. The restaurant is ok for breakfast but since all guests disappear to pub road in the evening no fun for dinner. 22Sep2010 tradIndy I was in the building with the reception & restaurant. Very large, nice room with large but dated bathroom. Towels & toiletries provided daily. Satellite TV with good range of English channels incl films, aircon, small pool + terrace bar & seating area. Good buffet breakfast with large selection + will accommodate vegetarian needs. 15mins from airport but did not honor complementary airport transfer. Had to pay $10. restaurant reasonably priced. 10mins drive to Angkor Wot, 2min tuk tuk ride to old town. Paid £84 for 3 nights incl breakfast. Write your own reviews |
Good all round value. Friendly service, large comfortable rooms ( we stayed in a suite which felt like a small apartment). Decent breakfast buffet catering to Western and Asian tastes. Modest but perfectly adequate pool for a refreshing dip. Located ony a short tuk tuk from pub street and the markets (or a 10 min walk).
